GCTM 2024 Summer Mathematics Academies

BRIDGING THE GAP FOR GROWTH!

Cost: $100 for members and $150 for non-members.

June 17-18, 2024 (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)
Tift County High School, Tifton, GA

June 20-21, 2024 (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)
Sequoyah High School, Cherokee County

Academy 3
June 24-25, 2024 (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)
Morgan County Middle School, Morgan County


Academy 4

June 27-28, 2024 (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)

New Hampstead High School, Chatham County

K-8: By grade bands (K-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8)

High School:  Teachers will select sessions from the topics including Geometry/Precalculus, and Algebra/Advanced Algebra.

We are excited to offer in-person academies this summer!

Register now for the two days of professional development opportunities focused on the following:

    • Discover ways to bridge students’ current understandings to achieve mathematical goals.
    • Become equipped with effective instructional design, practices and resources to review, support and extend learning.
    • Build clarity with implementing the Georgia K-12 Mathematics Standards.
    • Explore rich tasks that promote reasoning and problem solving.
    • Engage in meaningful dialogues with fellow educators.
