Registration Information: Each person attending the conference, including all speakers, must be registered. Pre-registration will be accepted until October 1, 2010. The registration fee for the lead speaker of a session is waived, but all co-presenters and presiders each must pay the registration fee. On-site registration will be available, but pre-registration is STRONGLY advised!

Online pre-registration is available for individuals and groups at www.gctm.org beginning August 1^st. Please visit the GCTM website after that date for complete details and instructions!

Meal reservations must be made during pre-registration. It is not possible to purchase cafeteria meals on site. Please note that while commercial food establishments are not located close to the conference site, a hamburger lunch is available for purchase.

Lodging reservations for the Rock Eagle cabins can be made during pre-registration. Lodging assignments will be made by gender upon arrival at the reservation desk in the registration area. Groups wishing to share cabins must come together to the reservation desk. The lodging fee is $35 per person, per night and includes linens, towels, soap, and blanket. Checkout time is 11:00 AM.

Numerous overnight accommodations are located within 12-15 miles of Rock Eagle. Individuals must handle their own accommodations off the Rock Eagle campus.

Local motels

There is no ATM and there are no pay phones at the conference center. Cell phones have sporadic signal availability at Rock Eagle. In the event of an Emergency between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, call

706-484-2800. From 6:00 PM until 8:00 AM, call the guardhouse at 706-484-2821. Leave a complete message

if the guard is away on rounds. The Putnam General Hospital can be reached at 706-485-2711 and is located

at 101 Lake Oconee Parkway in Eatonton.

Professional Learning Units [PLUs]: Individuals attending the 2010 Georgia Mathematics Conference will be eligible to receive one PLU credit through GCTM. In order to be eligible for PLU credit, each conference participant MUST have prior approval from her/his school district. Please turn in your completed Prior Approval Form (available online after August 1^st) at the PLU desk in International Paper when you arrive at the conference. See www.gctm.org for further details.

Attire for the conference is very casual (jeans, etc.). Be sure to wear very comfortable walking shoes!

It is suggested that you bring a jacket and umbrella for cool or rainy weather.
